⚠️ IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY INFORMATION

This kit is NOT suitable for the Gaggia Classic 2015+ models fitted with the stainless-steel boiler.

This stainless-steel articulated steam wand conversion kit is designed to give compatible Gaggia Classic machines a more practical, commercial-style steam-wand movement and improved milk-steaming capability.

The articulated ball-joint design allows the wand to move up, down and around, making it easier to position your milk jug and achieve a comfortable steaming position.

The kit includes a stainless-steel one-hole steam tip and all the main components required to install the articulated wand assembly.

Made in the EU to a high standard and exclusively designed and manufactured by Francis Ferrari for Espresso Lane.

The complete kit includes:

• 1 × Stainless-steel articulated steam wand
• 1 × Chrome Brass one-hole steam tip
• 1 × Metal mounting bracket
• Hex bolts / mounting fixings
• 1 × Stainless-steel joint spring
• 1 × Brass spring guide
• 1 × Brass male-to-male BSP fitting
• 1 × 1/8″ male × 1/8″ female elbow
• 1 × Food-grade, high-temperature PTFE reinforced flex pipe
• Speed fittings for connection to the steam valve and steam wand
• Heat sleeve for protection of the PTFE reinforced tube

The PTFE reinforced pipe can be shortened during installation if required to achieve a neat installation and suitable wand movement.

The stainless-steel ball-joint arrangement allows the wand to move freely through a wide range of positions.

This makes it easier to:

• Position your milk jug correctly
• Steam milk comfortably
• Move the wand up and down
• Swing the wand around the machine
• Achieve a more commercial-style steaming position

The stainless-steel one-hole steam tip is designed for controlled steam delivery and is suitable for milk steaming.

Please note: This is a conversion kit, not simply a direct replacement steam tube.

Installation requires access to the inside of the machine and the supplied mounting bracket must be secured to the machine chassis.

The installation requires drilling the chassis using a 4 mm or 4.5 mm HSS drill bit, depending on the supplied fixing arrangement.

Installation involves:

1. Removing the machine cover and original steam-wand assembly.
2. Positioning the supplied mounting bracket.
3. Drilling the required mounting holes in the chassis.
4. Securing the new mounting bracket.
5. Installing the articulated steam-wand assembly.
6. Connecting the supplied PTFE reinforced hose and fittings.
7. Checking the wand movement and hose routing.
8. Carrying out a controlled leak test before normal use.

Always ensure the machine is switched off, unplugged and completely cool before installation.

We strongly recommend that customers who are not experienced with working inside espresso machines have the kit installed by a suitably qualified technician.

Installation instructions are supplied with the kit.

The mounting bracket is designed to be secured to the machine chassis.

Before drilling, carefully check the position of the bracket and ensure there is adequate clearance from:

• Boiler
• Electrical wiring
• Electrical components
• Internal pipework
• Other moving or hot components

All metal swarf must be removed from the machine before reassembly.

The PTFE hose must also have enough slack to allow the articulated wand to move freely without kinking or pulling on the fittings.
